Testimonials

I have been training now with Ryan at Balance Point for around 10 months. I was looking to be challenged at the gym and reach goals that I really couldn’t achieve alone. Since being a client, I have learnt so much with regard to nutrition, muscle groups and motivation to achieve!

I have had an unfortunate hip injury that has given me much pain and limited what I could do at the gym.

Ryan has been nothing but motivating with my rehabilitation with thorough programmes and following up regularly with me. With his physiotherapy background, his knowledge and expertise are fantastic.

I have been motivated to train at least five times a week. After almost a year of hip pain, I’ve been pain-free for the past four weeks now. I thank you very much Ryan!!

So if you are looking to achieve, be educated, valued and motivated to lead a healthy lifestyle, then Balance Point is absolutely for you.

I began a personal training programme with Yas to help with passing the physical requirements of my police application.

Yas made up a programme specific to the different aspects of the tests. He motivated me to stick to it, so that when testing time came around the test was easier than I expected. Not only did he prepare me to pass, but I was able to exceed the testing requirements.

The programme increased both my muscular strength and my aerobic fitness. During our Weekly Personal Training sessions he offered a variety of exercises so that I would not get bored with my programme.
I enjoy being a part of Balance Point, its small and friendly nature also it’s great that it is open 24 hours so I can choose what time of day that suits me to work out.

Ah Bootcamp!!!!

I was talked into starting Bootcamp by a workmate and friend and I had no idea what to expect. Bootcamp pushes you but everything is achievable, everyone is different and you are only competing against yourself. I am really enjoying the total body workout which I felt I was lacking with just walking and running on my own, you need to mix it up to make things interesting. Its great to do things in a group, encourage each other, and we definitely have a few laughs. Underneath it all I don’t really think Ryan is that mean although pushing cars is pretty tough!

Camp Sergeant

Ryan our boot camp sergeant covers strength and cardio depending on your ability. Each week is different and that what makes it fun as you just don’t know what is coming next. He covers all parts of the body from head to toe, and takes on board any request you might have.

Yes some things are difficult but it’s your challenge no one else’s. Challenging your body and your mind can be a rewarding thing. It’s on a Wednesday when you know you have done well the day before because you can feel your body has worked.

If you are looking for something different than just going to the gym. Like having good fun working in a group, lots of laughs and encouragement? Come and become part of the boot camp gang. No one fails.
